| During a recent holiday in the French Pyrenees I found a number of Kestrels hunting a high plateau. They seemed quite trusting and at one point one launched from a nearby tree and took a grasshopper at about 8 feet from my feet. Magic! Of course the camera was on the wrong settings and any amount of cursing would not cause it to focus on a rapidly approaching Kestrel. | ||
